Welcome to NOC #19 [Spring Edition] 2024

Nacka Dojo is happy to invite you once again to Nordic BJJ Open, aka NOC!

NOC will be arranged in March 16-17:th and this is the #19th edition since the start in 2012. We invite kids, juveniles, adults and masters!

ARENA

– The competition is held in Skuruhallen, Skuru Skolväg 2, 131 47 Nacka.
– The entrance fee for spectators is 75 kr per day.
– Spectators are only allowed on floor 2 (up the stairs)
– All athletes can use Nacka Dojos academy as warm up area.
– The academy is just across the street from the venue and the sauna will be warm from 09.00
– Parking your car is only allowed on designated parking spots. You can use the school yard, there is also a big free parking in Ektorp Centrum only three minutes from the arena. Please respect the parking rules!

Foodtrucks and shop

We will have food trucks outside the arena just as previous years and in our café at Nacka Dojo academy we have Acai, Foodbox and other snacks. We will accept credit cards in all areas through Zettle. Note that we don’t take cash or swish.

The academy is just across the street from the venue – Skuruhallen.

LIVESTREAM!

The event will offer a livestream as a pay per view.

You can buy the whole weekend to get access to all streams live and as video on demand after the event.

OPEN CLASSES REGISTRATION

To qualify for participation in Open Class the following criterias must be met:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must first have fought in your own weight class.
• You are only allowed to participate in the same belt colour category for Open Class as you participated in your own weight class.

For Male White and Blue belts (Female is one open class), the Open classes will be split into two. One Light for -76kg and one Heavy for +76kg.

For -76kg you will have to weigh in by the mat before your first fight. You are free to choose any of these regardless of what weight class you competed in the day before.

Example: If you competed in -76kg but do not want to keep dieting for another day, it is okay to register for the +76kg Open Class.

Prizemoney in the open classes for Adults!

• 5000 sek for adult male blackbelt & brown/black belt for women – Open division
  In order to get your money you need to send us your expenses for an upcoming event competition fee, flight and/or hotel tickets] and we will pay them)

• 4000 sek for adult brownbelt – Open division
  In order to get your money you need to send us your expenses for an upcoming event [competition fee, flight and/or hotel tickets] and we will pay them.

• 2000 sek for adult purplebelts – Open division
  As a coupon code for upcoming personal Nordic registrations + a NOC-Hoodie.

• 1200 sek for adult bluebelts – Open division
  As a coupon code for upcoming personal Nordic registrations.

• 600 sek for adult whitebelts – Open division
  As a coupon code for upcoming personal Nordic registrations. 

In order for the prizemoney to be paid out we require brackets with a minimum of 6 fighters for men and 4 fighters for women, confirmed and paid. If the number of athletes are not met the amounts will be 50%.

An actual fight must take place for the spectators! Gentleman agreements are not allowed and if we see that happening, no money will be presented to the winner. 

WEIGH-INS

When you see your name on the TV screens that says ”current matches” you should go to the bullpen/waiting area and be ready to weigh-in. Please use your smartphone and go to Smoothcomp.com/ID and show this to our staff when requested.

All juvenile, adult and master fighters must show a valid ID in order to compete. If you dont make weight you will immediately get disqualified. No refunds are offered.

If you log in to your account you will see live updates of your next fight in the top menu. Coaches can search for their fighters matches and easily coach without missing anything. Go here to find all matches during the event.

COACHES

All academies get free entrance for 2 coaches and only those coaches will have access to the coaches area by mat E, F, G, H. You need to register for a coach credential with a Smoothcomp account before Thursday at 23:59. After this date we don’t accept any more coaches.

Coaches for the youngest kids (4-5 and 6-7 years) on Sundays event
We will allow coaches or parents inside of the competition area if you have kids in the 4-5 and 6-7 years categories that needs a helping hand to the mat. It is not allowed to coach from the chair. If you don’t follow our rules and starts talking/coaching we will have to ask you to leave your chair during the fight.

Coaching in general:
We ask you to treat referees, other fighters and crew with the same respect that you want for yourself. We have zero tolerance for bad language or offensive coaching and we will call the head referee and event management and ask them to remove anyone that don’t follow the rules.
