Welcome to Nordic Cups 2023! [Fall Edition]

Nacka Dojo is happy to invite you once again to Nordic BJJ Open and Nordic Ju-Jutsu Cup!

Nordic BJJ Open will be arranged in October 21st-22nd and Nordic Ju-Jutsu Cup will be arranged on October 22nd. We invite kids, juveniles, adults and masters to compete!

ARENA

– The competition is held in Skuruhallen, Skuru Skolväg 2, 131 47 Nacka.
– The entrance fee for spectators is 75 kr per day.
– Spectators are only allowed on floor 2 (up the stairs)
– All athletes can use Nacka Dojos academy as warm up area.
– The academy is just across the street from the venue and the sauna will be warm from 09.00
– Parking your car is only allowed on designated parking spots. You can use the school yard, there is also a big free parking in Ektorp Centrum only three minutes from the arena. Please respect the parking rules!

Foodtrucks and shop

We will have food trucks outside the arena just as previous years and in our café at Nacka Dojo academy we have acai and other snacks. We will accept credit cards in all areas through Zettle. Note that we don’t take cash or swish.

The academy is just across the street from the venue – Skuruhallen.

SMOOTHCOMP ID

To make the weigh-in smooth we are using Smoothcomps feature, Smoothcomp ID. If you have a Smoothcomp account you also have a digital profile with a QR and barcode that you will show to our staff.

Please make sure to be logged in to Smoothcomp.com/ID when you arrive to the arena and show this to our crew when asked.

LIVESTREAM!

The event will offer a livestream as a pay per view.

You can buy the whole weekend to get access to all streams live and as video on demand after the event.

WEIGH-INS

When you see your name on the TV screens that says ”current matches” you should go to the bullpen/waiting area and be ready to weigh-in. Please use your smartphone and go to Smoothcomp.com/ID and show this to our staff when requested.

All juvenile, adult and master fighters must show a valid ID in order to compete. If you dont make weight you will immediately get disqualified. No refunds are offered.

If you log in to your account you will see live updates of your next fight in the top menu. Coaches can search for their fighters matches and easily coach without missing anything. Go here to find all matches during the event.

COACHES

All academies get free entrance for 2 coaches and only those coaches will have access to the coaches area by mat E, F, G, H. You need to register for a coach credential with a Smoothcomp account before Thursday at 23:59. After this date we don’t accept any more coaches.

Coaches for the youngest kids (4-5 and 6-7 years) on Sundays event
We will allow coaches or parents inside of the competition area if you have kids in the 4-5 and 6-7 years categories that needs a helping hand to the mat. It is not allowed to coach from the chair. If you don’t follow our rules and starts talking/coaching we will have to ask you to leave your chair during the fight.

Coaching in general:
We ask you to treat referees, other fighters and crew with the same respect that you want for yourself. We have zero tolerance for bad language or offensive coaching and we will call the head referee and event management and ask them to remove anyone that don’t follow the rules.
